Mark Ford is an American Best-selling author, entrepreneur, publisher, real estate investor, filmmaker and a devout art collector, and consultant to the direct marketing and publishing industries. Mark grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island, New York. He has a bachelor’s degree from Queens College, a master’s degree from the University of Michigan, and did Ph.D. work at Catholic University. After college, Mark joined the Peace Corps and spent two years teaching students at the University of Chad in Africa.
Mark started his first business when he was 11 years old. In 1982, he worked as an apprentice to a well-known businessman in South Florida, he helped the company grow to $135 million in annual revenues, became a multimillionaire himself, and retired at age 39.
Since then Mark has been involved in the development of dozens of multimillion-dollar businesses.
In 2011, he co-founded Palm Beach Research Group, whose philosophy is a blend of conservative, income-based investments, asset protection and smart speculation.
Teaching is Mark’s passion, over the last decade he has written more than dozen books on entrepreneurship, building wealth and personal productivity. His books Automatic Wealth and Ready, Fire, Aim were on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
